Summary

Bass’ scope of work for Arkansas Heart Hospital Encore includes drilled piers, foundations, foundation walls, SOG, structural slabs, SOD, and sitework. Supported by drilled piers, the basement level slab is 20 feet below the first floor slab. The first floor structural slab is supported by cast-in-place walls and columns, which in turn support all of the structural steel and SOD for four levels above it. The finishing touches like the cast-in-place planer boxes and the integral-color-stamped concrete drives and roundabouts give the patients visiting a since welcoming feel as they approach. Long term patients can enjoy the plaza area with cast-in-place benches and concrete walls rising from below to create the hand rails.
