Summary

The UAMS Parking Garage is located on a very tight site on an active campus, which presented coordination challenges for the Bass Concrete team. In addition, it was constructed at the same time as the 60,000-square-foot Radiation Oncology Center on the same site. The Bass team coordinated closely with the owner and other teams to ensure work was completed safely and on schedule. The concrete scope included 326,000 SF of drilled piers, tower crane foundations, footings, cast-in-place walls, slab on grade, columns, post tension slabs and post tensioning, cable barrier rails and barrier walls, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and paving.
